Paris Fashion Week, RTW FW 2016

Runway, Uncategorized

Paris Fashion Week is over… and so Fashion Month. We had a great time even if it was a lot of work as there is more and more shows to attend in Paris. Hopefully this season the week began with a surge of excitement led by young Paris-based designers not witnessed for so many years: Jacquemus, Cédric Charlier, Anthony Vaccarello, Julien Dossena at Paco Rabanne, Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant at Courrèges. This confirmed that something new is afoot in Paris despite the city went through last year.

Details and attitudes were everything, from Chanel and Saint Laurent harking back to the couture salons of old, to Vanessa Seward ameliorating the  Parisienne’s silhouette. Considering the trends, next season hem will be irregular, jacket will feature quilting, checked trousers will be Prince of Wales and tissue-thin poloneck will be under everything.

Here’s our edit of the Paris fashion week. We’ve selected our favorites shows, looks and models.  Let us know what you think about this edition.
